Each year, the Real Estate Institute of Zimbabwe (REIZ) brings together property practitioners from across the country for its annual sports games, a tradition that has become a cornerstone of camaraderie, wellness, and professional networking within the real estate sector. As Terezim Fortress Properties, we were delighted to take part in last year’s edition of the REIZ Games, an event that not only fosters unity but also reinforces the shared values that keep our industry thriving.
The REIZ Games are more than just a sporting event; they are a celebration of teamwork and collaboration. For us at Terezim Fortress Properties, participating allowed our team members to interact outside the usual work environment, building stronger relationships and enhancing our sense of unity. One of the most valuable aspects of the REIZ Games is the opportunity to engage with other professionals across the real estate spectrum. Agents, valuers, property managers, and developers all come together in a relaxed and social setting. By taking part in different sporting disciplines from soccer and netball to volleyball our team members were reminded of the importance of maintaining physical fitness and mental wellness in order to perform at their best in the workplace.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen operational challenges and scheduling constraints, Terezim Fortress Properties was unable to participate in this year’s REIZ Games. While we deeply missed the chance to interact and compete with our colleagues from across the industry, our commitment to the spirit and purpose of these games remains strong. We continue to support REIZ’s vision of promoting unity and professional growth within the real estate fraternity and look forward to returning stronger in the next edition.
